Christmas Day!

Every year on Christmas morning we go over my Mom and Dad's house for breakfast and open presents. We all have fun opening gifts and watching the kids open theirs.

Christmas Eve at Cousin Sandy & Tony's

Every year we celebrate Christmas Eve at my Cousin Sandy's house.
This time her husband Tony was sick so we didn't get to see him, he was locked up in their bedroom. Pobrecito :(

I was ready to strangle my son because he was not in the mood to cooperate, instead he just wanted to be silly. As it was.. we were already taking the picture late and needed to get them to Costco so we could pick up and mail out the next day.

Jen's Fresno State Graduation

My Little sis Jennifer graduated in December from Fresno State University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communicative Disorders with an emphasis in Speech Language Disorder.

Our family is very proud of her and all of her hard work!!! Go Bulldogs!!

After the ceremony we celebrated at my parents house and there were a lot of Jen's friends and Family there to celebrate the occasion.

Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving was spent at my Aunt Rogie's house. It was a full house but that's the way we like it. Everyone ate good food and played games and had a really fun time. As always.

The kids played outside most of the day and I must say that they really needed baths badly when we came home.

Jessica Senior Volleyball - Golden West High School

My niece Jessica played in her last Volleyball Game at Golden West High School. On the last game they honor the Senior players where they can express their gratitude to their families for their love and support.

My sister Jennifer made all of us t-shirts with her name and jersey number on the back. They were too cute!

Forgive the picture quality; I was video taping and my sister had lost her camera while coming into the gym, and my other camera had a low battery so that was the only camera available. My sister did find her camera that next morning stuck between her car seats. Yeah!

Happy 5th Birthday Ben!

Yesterday was Benjamin's 5th Birthday. He celebrated with his Pre-k class and they ate pizza and cupcakes. Gary made the cupcakes and the kids loved them!

Lindsay's Volleyball Team

Lindsay is in her first year of Volleyball and she loves it. She has made some good friends and has really improved since her first game. When Lindsay first started she would get so frustrated because she couldn't serve the ball over the net, but now scored 8 points in a row and almost always serves the ball over the net. Great job Lindsay!

Halloween 2008

Every year at Lindsay and Ben's school they have the best Halloween parade/contest/carnival.

First they parade each class in front of the judges and some of the costumes are very creative and some are just too cute. Ben was a nerd and Lindsay was a hair/makeup beautician, and they both won in their grades. The judges give out 3 awards for each class and Ben and Lindsay were excited to win.

It was a fun day and then that night they went out trick or treating with their neighbors and cousin DJ. This time Ben wanted to be a Power Ranger.

Tiny Tot Flag Football with Ben

Ben is in his 1st year of flag football and he just finished the season. He loved it and Gary loved it too because the coach would have them run so much in practice that he would be nice and tired when he got home.

Disneyland Trip

I took Lindsay and Ben to Disneyland with my cousin Gina, Nicholas, and our Tia Viv. We had a great time!

Our memorable event of the trip was when we were trapped inside the Pirates of the Carribean ride! The ride broke down and we sat in those boats for more than 40 minutes. Finally they could not get it working so they had to get us all out of the boats and escort out of the building through the back lot. One good thing came out of it.....We got some fast pass tickets and we were able to go right to the front of the line on a couple of the rides. YEAH!!
